Problem description
the catch doesnt engage and the toast doesnt stay down.

Repair Notes
cleaned out the crumbs and tray and reseated the solenoid/catch and toaster works again.
the black side handles needs to be pried upwards from the inside with a flathead while simultaneously pulling away from the casing. only when the handles are out can the casing be slid open.
