The device does not show any signs of life when plugged in and turned on.

does not power on.

tested it multiple times, it's confirmed working again.
located the fault to be in the switch. it has metal strips that are no longer bent enough. rebend and tightened again. will monitor and test further
the multicooker suddenly stopped working again. clearly there's some intermittent fault inside that wasn't fully fixed.
after opening and reseating the switch everything works again.
