mic doesnt work, no sound.

repaired
easy to disassemble, all held by visible screws with no glue or latches.
identified fault as loose/broken wire for microphone. the break likely happened due to repeated swivel causing tension on the wire.
used penknife to scrape off insulation off the wire then resolder, mic works again. used hot glue to secure wire to housing to prevent the soldered spot from experiencing tension when swiveling the mic. advised participant to be gentle when swiveling the mic.
