lid doesn't close fully

Unable to pry open the hinge without damaging the catches.
Unable to find the hinge or the lid assembly to replace either.
Giving up on the repair. The kettle is otherwise still usable.
rattling noise was a screw that came out, tightened it back.
diassembled lid to reach the hinge but unable to pry the top button loose. probably have to squeeze the clips and push upwards but unable to quite get the grip.
