Physical damage prevents the device from functioning properly.
Problem description
both handles broke.
already ordered spare handle

the spare handle is not a perfect fit, it is too long.
have to bend it before it fits into the cutout holes.
as a result the handle is permanently curved .
additionally have to reuse the backing from original handle as the backing of the spare is too long, cannot align with screwholes.it probably still works just not an ideal fit.
tested with 8kg dumbbells and handle seems to hold up.
